Complete and submit our online application form with the details of your chosen program and dates. You will then receive an email confirming that ASTCF has received your application. Within 48 hours (2 working days), you will receive an email from your ASTCF Principle Program Consultant acknowledging your application and confirming the project and dates of your volunteer program. In this email, you will receive more information about your chosen program, as well as details on how to pay the non-refundable deposit on your program of US$150 which is required to validate and initiate the application process and to secure your placement. It will only take you a short time to complete this form: Online application.
Your trip advisor will talk you through how to pay your program fee deposit and for any extra trips. As soon as your deposit on your Program Fee has been received by ASTCF, you will be provided with all the information and support you need to prepare for your upcoming volunteer program. We will be providing you advice about visas, immunizations when to purchase your airline ticket, and other things you will need to take care of before you depart. You will also receive a pre-departure handbook filled with valuable information about the country where you will be traveling as well as details about your specific program. The Pre-trip checklist and your program invoice with instructions and the due dates of further payments of the remaining balance of the program fees not later than 4 weeks before your departure date or at the time of application if you apply within. In addition, our staff is always available to answer any questions you might have about your experience abroad.
After I Apply, What Happens Next?
Your trip advisor will be your point of contact throughout your preparations up until you finish your volunteer program. Your trip advisor will provide you with access to your ASTCF Information Booklet, providing detailed information specific to your chosen volunteer program, and fulfill all remaining administration duties with you.
We will be providing you advice about visas, immunizations when to purchase your airline ticket, and other things you will need to take care of before you depart. You will also receive a pre-departure handbook filled with valuable information about the country where you will be traveling as well as details about your specific program.
